Rema®'s Energy Transition Journey: Solar Panels and beyond

At Rema®, our focus on sustainability is an integral part of our business strategy. We are committed to improve our products and services and also to continuously enhance our operations with sustainability at the forefront. Over the past few years, we have implemented key initiatives to significantly reduce our environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.

Transition to LED Lighting

Our sustainability journey began with the transition to energy-efficient LED lighting throughout our facilities. This move has substantially cut our energy consumption and has set the stage for more comprehensive sustainability initiatives.

ISO 14001 Certification: Commitment to Environmental Standards

In June 2022, we reached a major milestone by achieving ISO 14001 certification. This reflects our dedication to high environmental standards and our commitment to continuously improve our environmental management practices.

Installation of 152 Solar Panels

Building on our previous efforts, 152 solar panels were installed on our facility’s roof. The solar panels generate more than 80% of our total energy needs, further reducing our dependence on external energy sources as well as our carbon footprint.

While our recent achievements mark significant progress, it is only the beginning of our sustainability journey. We are dedicated to apply further improvements to our operations, with a focus on optimizing energy consumption and integrating future renewable energy solutions.
